Customers who prefer to insert the mold from the side, SWITEK offers a wide range of side entry IML systems. In some cases, as in the extraction of products of 8 or 16 cavities, stacking and IML, they usually prefer this solution.
The robot is mounted in the frame of the IML next to the injection molding machine. The label dispenser, the extraction unit, the stacking system and the storage belt are placed in the same frame structure.
Side entry systems are available for molding machines with a clamping force of between 70 and 1,200 tonnes.
